Description:

Texas Instruments (TI), a global leader in semiconductor innovation, is looking for a Test Engineer to join its Consumer Audio Amplifiers and Haptics (CAAH) group in Bengaluru.

This role involves working on cutting-edge mixed-signal SoCs for applications in phones, tablets, PCs, speakers, and TVs. You will be working closely with product definition, design, and production teams to ensure high-quality testing and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product definition and design teams before silicon availability to define test requirements.
  • Develop test plans, test programs, and hardware interface boards.
  • Balance trade-offs between test coverage, cost, and time.
  • Perform statistical analysis on yield fallout, debug yield issues, and optimize test performance.
  • Develop test circuits and algorithms to improve test capabilities and reduce test times.
  • Drive design reviews, negotiate specifications, and work with cross-functional teams (Systems, Apps, Test, Quality, Production).
  • Support customer issue debugging, root cause analysis, and volume production release.

Key Technical Skills:

Analog testing, Mixed-signal test techniques, TI roadmap testers, C++, Python, C#, Board layout tools, SI simulation tools (Allegro, Sigrity, Ansys, ADS), Test program development, Statistical analysis

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, or related field).
  • 3–4+ years of experience in testing analog products.
  • Strong background in mixed-signal test development.
  • Hands-on experience in test program development and hardware offload to manufacturing sites.
  • Proficiency in C++, Python, C# for automation and scripting.
  • Familiarity with board layout and SI simulation tools like Allegro, Sigrity, Ansys, and ADS.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
